What you pay down

The monthly plan is $89 a month, and the down payment is as low as $0.

What you actually put down depends on how much there is to build. A straightforward site — a handful of pages, your services and prices, hours, contact — usually starts at nothing down. A bigger job, such as a large menu, several locations, a lot of photography, or connecting an ordering or booking system, may carry a down payment.

We decide that number and tell it to you before you agree to anything. It never changes after you have agreed to it. If we get the scope wrong, that is our problem, not a new invoice.

What the monthly covers

Design and build, hosting, your domain registration, and changes to your content made by us within two business days. Keeping your Google Business Profile accurate is included too.

"Changes" means the ordinary running of your site: prices, hours, photos, staff, menu items, a new service, seasonal notices. Building something substantially new — an online store, a booking system, a second location, a redesign — is a separate job we quote before starting.

Who owns what

You own your domain. We register it in your name, not ours, and we transfer it to you whenever you ask, at no charge.

You own your content — your words, your photos, your prices, your logo.

We own the underlying template and code the site is built on, and we license it to you for as long as you are a customer. If you buy the site outright, that licence becomes permanent.

Cancelling

The monthly plan has a 6-month minimum, then continues month to month. After the minimum you can cancel any month, and you are not billed again.

When you cancel you choose one of two things:

• Buy the site outright at the price quoted at the time, and take it with you.
• We take the site down and hand you your domain and your content.

We do not hold a domain, a login, or a set of files to make leaving harder.

Buying it outright

$750–$1,500 one time, depending on size. Hosting and domain care afterwards is optional at $25 a month. Changes after launch are billed by the hour, quoted before we start.

Getting the preview

The preview we build before you decide is free, and it puts you under no obligation. It is built from publicly available information about your business. It is not published to search engines, and we take it down whenever you ask.
